About

1969 Chevrolet Camero SS 2Dr Hardtop Numbers Matching 4-Speed 350 V8 with over 500hp.This is a VERY RARE - Special Equipment Camero that Chevrolet produced in 1969. Only a handful were made and this is one of them.Documented real SS, matching-numbers 350, date code correct 4-speed manual, awesome original color combination, A fully complete no expense spared restoration. An extremely high-quality Camaro The Camaro factory Garnet Red over Red vinyl RED - on - RED is a Very Rare combination for Camaro in 1969, only a handful were made, it looks awesome. Laser-straight bodywork shows extremely well with excellent gaps and a finish that makes this car stand out. Obviously, there were pros working on this cars bodywork and it fits together better than many of the F-bodies Ive seen in the past. Doors close with a solid sound, not a rattle, and both the hood and trunk latch with little more than light pressure. Black hockey stick stripes along the flanks were standard on the SS, along with the ultra-cool Chrome Hood Inserts, which I like a lot more than a garden-variety cowl induction unit. Out back theres a ducktail spoiler to give it the right look. The vinyl top shows beautifully with no evidence of issues underneath. It really is as nice as it looks in photosmaybe even better. The red interior is how this car was ordered and as I mentioned, the Red-on-Red combination is Very Rare for the 1969 Camero. The numbers-matching 350 cubic inch V8 shows a correct HA code and a matching partial VIN on the oil filter boss. It was rebuilt less than 1000 miles ago and includes a Callies crank, aluminum heads painted to match the blockvery stealthy, a roller valvetrain, and a 4-barrel carburetor. Its a lot stronger than the original 300 horsepower but it isnt at all fussy and once it comes off the choke, its seriously punchy. The only deviation from stock are the finned aluminum valve covers, but thats by necessity to clear the Racing Roller Rockers. Power Steering and Power Disc brakes are part of the deal and have been since the car was new, so this F-body is very easy to manage on the street.Underneath, the suspension is new, the exhaust is new, the brakes are new, and, well, you get the idea. The aforementioned 4-speed feeds a rugged 12-bolt rear end with 3.55 gear ratio. The front suspension features 2-inch drop spindles and cross-drilled brake rotors and you can see all the new parts in the photos. The floors are extremely clean with no evidence that they have been patched or replaced and man, that Magnaflow stainless exhaust sounds spectacular Theres a fresh set of QA1 adjustable shocks and springs that give the car a menacing rake its not as substantial as the photos make it appear. 14-inch Rally wheels carry reproduction F70-14 Firestone Wide Oval tires.Documentation is EXTENSIVE, including the original window sticker, Protect-O-Plate, manuals, a stack of receipts inches thick, and photos of everything. This is a Seriously Documented nice car in every way that matters and it has an Awesome Pedigree.
