This vehicle was purchased about 10 years ago by a gentleman in Salinas, CA. When he purchased the truck it had just been restored. The paint, bed, interior, engine and transmission were all refurbished during that time. He drove the truck only occasionally around town throughout his years of ownership. Like all classic cars TLC is always needed. This truck is extremely solid. The floors are all original and rust free. The paint has its infections as well as some few bubbles here and there but overall it has held up very well. The gabs and body lines are all excellent. No sign of any bondo or previous accidents. The interior is in very good condition , the seats look like new, carpets are in good shape, dash has no cracks, the headliner looks great, modern JVC Radio and much more Mechanically it runs and drives great. The motor is very healthy, sounds great and has plenty of power.Transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. It has a straight six paired with a three speed transmission on the floor. The motor can keep up with traffic and go over 70 miles an hour on the highway with no issues. The brakes are functioning as they should. The clutch feels healthy. Suspension feels good. The steering is tight but needs an alignment. I had just put on new tires, a new carburetor and air cleaner. The door handles were shaved and do not open from the outside, you must reach in from the side mirror to open the door.
