About

Fully restored. SMOG checked 12522 and passed with flying colors. Brand new steel doors and soft top included.A CJ is meant to be a true off-roader, and so this 1982 Jeep CJ7 has been given investments for plenty of added ruggedness. But as you look over the full package, the color combo, soft top, and overall level of finish tell you that they thoughtfully built this 4x4 for you to fully enjoy.Black is always great when you want to be a bit more aggressive, but this really turns it up a notch. Its actually freshly applied rhino liner paint, and its an evenly applied application, so theres sophistication within the added ruggedness. That means it looks good rolling down Main Street, and at the same time, you know youll also never be afraid to blaze your own path. The black is also a tasteful contrast to all the polished pieces like hallmark grille, new Smittybilt mirrors, hood locks, and 15-inch wheels. Plus, theres even more shine and durability from the diamond plate panels on the rockers and rear bumper. Tubular side steps, smooth fender flares, and a trailer hitch are all part of a package of both style and substance. This comes with a full soft top and doors. They have a newer look, and tan is always tasteful against black. It even matches the cover over the full-size spare. But a Jeep is all about the open-air experience, and so this one gives you a nice tan upholstery to keep the attractive color combo going. There are the right features for a quality driver like arecently rebuilt steering column and shoulder belts attached to the roll bar. You have useful features, like the center console that doubles as a lockbox, cup holders, and an AMFMCD stereo. And because the exterior liner paint returns inside, this one has the right feel for a robust 4x4.Under the hood is AMCs trusty 4.2-liter inline-six in the stock-style engine bay. And newer components such as the battery, alternator, and wiring suggest that it has had proper care over its lifetime. In fact, as you look at the undercarriage photos, youll spot new shocks and an overall clean style. The two-speed 4x4 transfer case and all-terrain tires mean you have the proper Jeep go-anywhere prowess. Plus, you are always in confident control thanks to features like the four-speed manual transmission and front disc brakes.Complete with restoration photos, this classic Jeep has the right upgrades to deliver the sharp CJ youve been waiting for.
