Up for sale is a 1989 Jeep Wrangler YJ that I bought as a project. Jeep runs and is up to date with inspection and tags selling it because I do not have time to continue working on it -- life hits. Buyer will get the 4.11 gears and bearing kits to install however, the differentials will need to be replaced with the appropriate cage since the current ones wont allow more than 3.73s. Current gears are 3.08 and the jeep has 35 inch tires the speedometer is off by at least 10 miles once you hit 35 mph or so. The Jeep has an upgraded HEI distributor Chevy style and the engine is a 4.2 liter inline six with a 3 speed automatic transmission. I will also throw in the farm jack high lift jack along with the OE rear axles. I upgraded the axles to Yukon Gear axles, bearings, and retainer brackets. Jeep has a new water pump, radiator, starter, and other items Ive been replacing and installing for some time. The front differential will be engaged via a cable original used vacuum but that had a lot of problems and was replaced with the cable. I also have a MC2100 carb that I will provide as it has a few more cfms than the current Weber 3234 i believe. There is a Carter P4070 electric fuel pump installed in there already. Also, the Jeep does not have an AC system and that is by design.There was some rust on the windshield area so I replaced the whole assembly along with the brackets.This Jeep is a toy and if you have not understood what I listed above, then this Jeep is not for you mean no disrespect. Likely it will continue to be a project but it is just one of those things where only Jeepers might understand.Title in hand as well.While price may have some room for negotiation, dont throw 3k offers which is why I will only respond via email -- serious buyers only.
