About

As the title says its a 1990 NA6 Mazda Miata. Runs perfect. Starts as soon as the key turns. 1.6 liter but thats only the beginning. This car is a streetroad course build that I occupied my free time with. Showing 155k on the odometer. I am only going to list the major aspects of the vehicle, and if youre serious, get in touch with me and I can go into detail about all the work and parts. You need to drive it, and see it to appreciate it. Yes, I did run it hard from time to time when I was in driving schools, or on the track, but it can handle it no problem The 1.6 crank failure known to these engines was solved by changing the entire bottom end out for a big nose crank block which only had 60k on it. New timing belt, pulleys, water pump, etc. I still have the factory ECU installed but the car does have a Megasquirt Standalone ECU with a few different maps. Car still easily gets 25 mpg on 91-93 octane. Block was decked .010 while I was rebuilding. Original 1.6 NA head with everything new on top end except cams. Cometic MLS head gasket and ARP studs. Head shaved .030. Matched intakeexhaust manifolds to head. Header back Racing Beat exhaust. I have a new $500 Jackson Racing 4-1 long tube header and will install and have it re-tuned if I get time before the car sells. Still running on a narrowband 02. DDM works intake. New exedy performance clutch and resurfaced pressure plate. Car does not have AC, as it was removed along with all related pieces for weightengine rev parameters. Mazdaspeed engine mounts. Flying Miata adjustable front and rear sway bars. KYB AGX2 10 position adjustable dening suspension. Flying Miata top hats which keep the ride height comfortable after adding a shorter track spring. On the street, the ride is still good, but again, it was tailored for having a weekend at a road course track and being able to stick wherever you want to put it. Hard Dog roll bar. Included in the price is a black hard top, with hardware, it easily could sell for at least $1000 alone...it was required for some events. Also, inlcuded is a set of Lenso VPD 13 lightweight race wheels, I would not advise running them on the street, if you hit a pothole, they may bend. They currently have a set of worn out Hoosier race tires on them. EBC red stuff pads all around. Newer brake lines. Car has so much more to speak about, but I dont want to have too long of a description. Call, text, or email if you have interest. I am not really thinking about moving on this price.
