About

Please read the entire listing, thank you.I will answer nearly all emails but dont make an offer until you have seen and driven the truck. If you do I will ignore you. This is a business transaction not a game.I make appointments for viewing ONLY. We will meet in a public location during the day light hours. Please if you dont have the cash dont set an appointment. No you can not get the location and drive by it.First come first serve. I will not hold it for anyone, Please dont ask.I will sell the topper separately for $700. You will remove the topper if you want it separate from the truck. You will use a method I approve of so the truck dosent get damaged. I will assist in the removal. But I will not sell the truck without the topperI have a clear title in hand.I am not interested in trades.Cash only1992 Ford F150 XLT Lariat extended cab, 8 box. I have installed a Knapheide commercial topper. This topper has horizontal side doors and vertical rear barn doors, all with matching locks and I have the key.4.9 litre 6 cyl with 124, milesProfessionally rebuilt 5 speed manual transmission with a new clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, pilot bearing, slave cylinder and reservoir all with less than 15,000 miles since being installed.I have installed a large number of parts since I bought this truck 7 years ago with 98,000 miles on it. I believe that I am the 3rd owner. I do have receipts for almost all of the work done.New parts since I owned the truck, to include-Professionally rebuilt 5 speed-manual transmission-Clutch-Pressure plate-Throw out bearing-Pilot bearing-Slave cylinder and reservoir-Front and rear shocks-All tie rod ends-All ball joints-Exhaust system from the cat back-Starter-Alternator-Power steering pump-Steering box-Ignition switch key matches door locks-Spark plugs-Plug wires-Distributor cap and rotor-Radiator-Thermostat-Some hoses-All u-jounts-Rear wheel bearings and seals-Wiper motor-2 Reese hitchAdditional items-Hancook LT Tires with good tread-Good 4-flat trailer wiring-Sliding rear window-There is a full size spare stored in the truck bed and factory jack-I have the original owners manual and a aftermarket shop manual they both come with the truck-The interior is in good condition for the age, the dash doesnt rattle, the seat is in good conditionWorking accessories-Power windows -Power locks-Cruise control-AC, it is still R-12, its super cold above an idle but a tich warm at idle-might need a little freon-Heater-Intermittent wipersNon-working features-Front gas tank has a hole in it and the fuel pump was bad when I bought it-Since I never used the front gas tank I assume the tank transfer switch is not good-I obviously didnt drive it much and found the battery will not hold a charge when left sitting, I installed a discount on the negative battery terminal to keep the battery reliable. There could be a short or a ground issue but I never found it. So I just unhooked the battery when not in use-The radiocassette deck is not working-The windshield is cracked and has been since I have owned it. It is cracked in a manner that has never impeded the view out of the windshieldAdditional information-I have driven this truck to the southern Texas border and into Mexico, twice. I would drive it anywhere.-The truck has the longest wheel base of this production year-The gear ratio in the rear end is a 3.55, the highest ratio made this production gear, I have inspected the rear end gears they are excellent. The truck will get 17 to 20 mpg if driven at or under 65 mph-To install the topper I discarded the tail gate, I do not have it-I removed the back seat and do not have it, the rear seat belts are still there.-I used spray foam to insulate the doors on the commercial topper-I did cut a hole in the rear passenger side of the topper to install a window and ended up not completing the project. I do have the piece that I cut out and it will come with the truck.-I just buffed and waxed the paint and have cleaned the interior-There is a ladder rack installed on the top of the topper-I had planned on making a truck cer out of the unit with solar on the roof. I have large golf cart batteries, solar panels, controller, inverter and wiring to complete the project. The batteries were going to be installed in the extended cab and I have installed heavy braided tubingconduit to allow for the wiring to travel between the cab and the topper which can be easily removed or left as it is off to the side. I may consider selling the solar system for additional cash. It is NOT installed on the truck.-There is rust. I patched the holes in the wheel wells of the box. The truck has always had a topper, the rest of the bed is in very good condition-I was going to redo the front brakes if I kept it. I had replaced one caliper and a rotor since I have owned it.-The rear brakes are not original and in good condition. I use the emergency brake and it works as it should.
