1997 Cadillac Eldorado ETC for sale. Grandma bought this car brand new and it has been in our family for the entire time. Grandma is not able to drive any more so we bought this car from her for our 16 year old. Realized that it is too powerful as a first car and requires more maintenance then a 16 year old can afford, thus are selling it. The car is in MINT condition and almost seems brand new. Still smells like new leather. Leather seats are in pristine condition. Has always been garaged. Has never been in an accident. Put brand new Michelin tires on it. Has a brand new water pump, new alternator belt, new idle control valve, new idle position sensor and new temperature sensor. Car runs very smooth and rides very quiet. Bose stereo with CD changer works well and sound quality is great. Electric sunroof works perfectly well. One of the front rotors has a slight warp which you can feel when breaking. My mechanic felt it could wait until new break pads are needed. Breaks are otherwise great. It has a slight oil leak from the engine, which is common in Cadillacs and the dealer advised that this does NOT need to be repaired. The RTC unit for the remote control would need to be replaced so the remote currently is not working, which also affects the alarm system, but car can easily be opened and locked with keys. Cadillac dealer found a used RTC unit new units no longer available for about 240$ but we did elect not to replace it. There are 2 sets of the original Cadillac keys. These cars have an amazing ride quality and are highly sought after. Ride smoother than my Mercedes, for what it is worth. Thanks for looking.
