Increasingly rare low mileage stock 1997 Jeep Cherokee. 4.0L Inline 6 engine with 4-wheel drive Automatic. New all-terrain tires BFG K02s just installed. Clean title with Carfax included This jeep starts and runs great. It was recently serviced at Coreys Tyhee Automotive with an oil change, transmission fluid change and Transfer case service with all documents included. This Jeeps interior is decently clean for the year and includes the spare tire, factory roof rack, Factory Drivers Manual and a 2 inch receiver for towing or bike racks. 4x4 works great with no issues. All manual locks and windows make this XJ an excellent simple mountain rig and daily driver.Cons The bearings in the rear axle need to be replaced and cause a grinding noise. AC just barely went out and Check Engine light came on right after, I havent had time to address it but it does not affect the driving of the Jeep. Missing a strut on the hatch easy fix and there is some rust under the driver and passenger side door areas. Needs new brakes all around and the muffler is loose and rattles. Could use some new paint and plastic trim pieces.All in all, this is a turn key XJ that could be an excellent rig with a bit of time and effortOnly trades I would entertain are similar year Wranglers.
