1998 5.9 Jeep Grand Cherokee On a 7-inch Clayton long arm kit in the front and rear regeared to 4.88 and has a new transfer case. Also brought it to an auto electricians shop and there is a fuse box on the non-damaged side of the engine bay that has 5 hookups wired for lighting in front of the grill, above the roof for a light bar and in the back for a whip. 2 more spots available for any added accessories and the switches are right by the drivers left knee. Tapped a tree off-road so it needs some work on the front end for looks and to get the headlight working but its street-legal other than that. already had the rear end totally straightened back out by payless 4WD in Chico and the frame is still straight, with no popped pinch seams. The motor still runs great. I just bought a new steering box to put in it because I tweaked that with the crash but other than that it was all cosmetic. The jeep is a beast shoot me an offer. I know if you work on jeeps this would all be a piece of cake with some pick-n-pull parts. Just recently moved to Colorado and left this with my tenants in Chico so at this point I want to get rid of it so someone else can have their fun with it.I know you dont get your money back from what you put into off-road rigs but you could even pull the long arm kit out of this and that alone from Clayton is worth 3-4k in parts plus the 35 BF Goodrichs are in great shape. This is not a parts truck, its street-legal, passes smog, and just needs a little work.
