About

1999 Chevrolet Tahoe 2 door K1500. 3 owners total. 350 5.7 Vortec with an automatic transmission. The truck has been in Georgia for the last 13 years with it originating from Northern Tennessee. No rust damage. 193,754 miles. We just got back from Myrtle Beach in it back in May, so its safe to travel long distances in it without any issues. The gas mileage isnt great, but anyone who knows anything about these things know that. Basic maintenance such as oil changes, air filters, and fluid changes have been kept up properly. Does not leak any oil, but does burn between 12-34 of a quart in between them though. We use either Castrol or Havoline synthetic high mileage oil due to its age. Just had a radiator flush performed this past summer along with a trans flush at Mountainside Service Center and its where we have taken it for any oil changes or any repair we have had done to it over the years. Air blows cold, but at the beginning of every summer we usually put in about 2 cans 134-A freon and it lasts all summer usually at the cost of around 45-60 bucks every year. We usually take it to Mountainside to have it done. All windows and locks work correctly, but the passenger side is slow to roll all the way up sometimes during the cold months. We have a new regulator that we purchased off RockAuto and just havent installed in it, but dont mind letting it go with the truck. Shocks and struts were last replaced in 2020, along with ceramic brakes all the way around. I would say it could use a front pair because it has a minor vibration when you come to stop at the bottom of a hill when you are going prety fast from about 40 slowing down. The lights behind the dash speedometer where all the gages seems to be getting a little dim, so I had intention of installing it, but just havent. I do have the bulbs to do them with, just havent gotten around to it. As you can see from the pictures, it has pretty decent paint and there arent any big noticeable dents on it. There are a couple of baseball sized indentations on the truck one behind the bumper on the drivers side and one close to the rocker panel alongside the drivers side door, but not in very noticeable spots. There is a minor crack in the windshield on the passenger side about 8 or 9 inches long right along the bottom right above the dash maybe 4 or 5 inches above the dash. It does not affect visibility for the driver at all. Aside from the above mentioned issues, it has been a solid little truck for us and were looking for serious buyers to deal with. We are located in Dahlonega, GA 65 miles or a little over an hour northeast of Downtown Atlanta and will be available most weekdays anytime after 530-6 and just about anytime on weekends aside from midday on Sunday. Below is a list of the issues that could use attention so there are no surprises when potential buyers come to lookFreon has to be topped off at the beginning of every summer. Could use some front brakes because they are getting a little low.Crack in the windshield on passenger side about 8 inches long. Passenger side window sometimes takes a little longer to roll up on the cold months. The speedometer dash lights are pretty dimBurns off a little oil, but does not leak any. The dents behind the bumper on the drivers side and one on close down where the rocker panel is on the drivers side right where you put your feet in at. Brakes and parking lights are reversed not sure how this happened, but the brakes lights come on where the parking lights are and the brake lights come on where you let off the brakes. Im sure it would be an easy fix to the right person, but its not really caused us any issues as far as getting pulled over, so its not been an issue. I have tried to do a full disclosure on it so you have a good idea of whats going on with the truck. If you have any questions or want to come look at our truck contact me at 7six2three0seven1one8sox. I am usually around my phone, so if I dont answer leave a message and Ill promptly return your message. Text instead of leaving a VM please.
