2001 4x4 Ford Limited Excursion - 7.3 powerstroke - Driven 268,624 miles -This is a great vehicle that we have had for the last 15 years. This vehicle has taken our family on many trips around the Southwest and has not had any major problems, just the typical electrical issues you see with this year ford. The 7.3 powerstroke motor runs and sounds great. You wont be winning any races but you can tow whatever you want without a problem. Transmission shifts smoothly and has not had any problems the whole time we have owned it. 4 wheel drive works great. Tires are all terrain with good tread. Probably about half the life left in them.You wont believe how much space this thing has. No vehicle made today even compares. 3 rows of seating where adults can sit comfortably plus over 4 feet of space in the back. Large aftermarket flip down tv screen that will play dvds. Body is in good shape, one small dent on the front of the passenger side by the light and the paint is starting to chip on the hood. Leather seats are in good condition. Drivers seat does has a couple cracks and a tear in it. The only real problem right now is that there is a small draw on the batteries somewhere that will kill them if not driven for a couple of days. We just have not had the time to look into it and figure out where exactly the draw is.
