2003 ZR2. Bought in New Jersey 4 years ago for my father for hunting. I drive it to work in crap weather. Sold my 1995 F250 . Hes 75 and couldnt make the climb into the F250 anymore. His friend had one of these years ago, he liked it, so the search began. I purchased it with 109,000 miles on it for $4800.00. Now It has 119,500. After purchasing this truck and getting it home, I went to get it inspected and received a long list of what was wrong. Since purchasing it, over the years I have replaced 4 Tires new 31x10.5 BFG All Terrains Both upper control arms with Moog units. New brakes and rotors all 4 corners New rear calipers , park brake shoes , park brake pedal and all new cablesNew axel seal on LR. would have done both. I received one wrong one. Returned it. Have the other new one. Fresh 70w90 Royal Purple gear oil New front shocks New steering stabilizer 1 new rear shackle, have the other in a box 1 ton Idler arm conversion, no idler arm play or slop New AC Delco Fuel pump Module Assembly Reman AC Delco steering box. Went through 2 of them to get a decent one. New rag joint New radiator 180 deg thermostat New Heavy Duty Fan Clutch New AC compressor and filter dryer New plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Had a burble at idle when i got it, figured a tune up would take care of it. After the tune up, still has a burble at idle. Runs excellent thought. Never had an issue. New Tail Light lens assemblies with LED reverse lights so Pop can see backing into things Quad Headlight conversion All 4 lights come on when high beams activated with all 4 LED Headlights and new lens assemblies So Pop can see what hes about to hit Rigid super super bright LED driving lights Daytime running light delete Auto Headlight delete. Did this and daytime delete to lengthen the life of the bright LED headlights. Now it just onoff with the switch Wait....the list goes on..... LED interior lighting Tri Fold Bed cover new windshield. New speaker covers and vent cover Has bed liner Has 3.73 Locking Differential 4WD works excellent . Vacuum pod under battery went bad. Installed a new one. Went bad after 3 months. Locked 4WD cable to bypass vacuum switch . Works great Have new vacuum pod for a replacement. Has power windows and power door locks Had a remote startlock and unlock installed. Works excellent Will start the truck a mile away Has lights on dash blacked out . Most likely the Check Engine Light. Was like this when purchased. I never messed with any of that . Driven to Atlantic City in snow storm before pandemic. Drove excellent Never abused. Pops never had an issue at the cabin with it. Hes a tough old buck to please Body has cancer in the normal S10 areas. Quarters have cancer and bubbles, Fenders are bubbling, 3rd door bottom was repaired long before I got it but was not done correctly. Im not a body man. Im not going to change panels fenders etc.... on this. It has some oil seepage . It will leave a rainbow where you park it in the rain. As you can probably tell, Im trying to be completely honest about the truck. Pop wants something newer. Hes thinking of jumping the pond and going Toyota. Im selling as is. Not making any $$ on this. I bought it for $4800.00. Did so much work to it.
