The car is similar to the Toyota Matrix XRS. It has the 6 speed manual transmission, 1.8L high revving 180 hp toyota engine tuned by Yamaha as seen in the picture of the engine block. I bought this to fix up but have run out of blood, sweat, tears, money, and energy. That being said the car runs great, steering, handling, brakes, clutch, etc . 3 of the tires are brand new and the other is nearly new. I have replaced the valve cover gasket, spark plugs, ignition coils, power steering pump, passenger drive axle, rear hubs and rear brakes. Everything works from lights to power windows, locks and AC. Interesting features are the fold flat front passenger seat and separate opening rear glass as seen in the pictures.The car is being sold as is and may need some work to pass inspection. The windshield has a lot of scratches, there is an exhaust shield rattle that I have not been able to fix. I have new moog inner and outer tie rods and power steering hoses that have not been installed if needed. The clear coat is peeling and the hood looks rough, it is almost 20 years old It can be tagged historic in January, so no inspection needed. Thanks for looking.
