About

I purchased this Jeep about a month ago out of the Raleigh North Carolina area. I had been looking for a while for a nice TJ and finally found it with the very rare electric lime green pearl metallic paint. I have put less than 500 miles on it and most of that was driving it home. I was off Thanksgiving week and took my wife and 2 teenagers out in it 2 times for lunch and it is simply too small for us to enjoy as a family. I did run an Auto Check on it before I purchased it and can send you a copy. Auto Check was great with no accidents or anything. The Jeep shows no sign that it has ever been smoked in, something very important to me. Jeep appears to have never been offroad. It has the 4.0l inline 6 cylinder engine mated to a 5 speed manual transmission with 83,500 original miles on it. It has cold AC and a good heater along with tilt wheel. It has manual windows and locks. It does not have cruise control. It has an awesome, completely replaced sound system with a new Kenwood dash unit with bluetooth and a mic mounted on the steering column to take your phone calls. All 4 of the speakers have been upgraded and a 10 inch Pioneer sub has been installed behind the rear seat. Most all of the lighting on the vehicle has been upgraded to LED and has a really cool 1 inside the spare. Has a new Smittybilt rear bumper that has a spare tire carrier and a 2 inch hitch built into it,new front bumper with 4 LEDS,winch mount and fairlead installed, new 12000 lb. Winch with 2 wireless controllers,1 wired controller, and a winch cover. The fender flares have been painted to match the texture of the bumpers and look great. It has new tubular door steps and rugged ridge door sill protectors. Jeep has a completely new top and Rough Country neoprene seat covers on all seats. Factory seats still look great. Quadratech floor liners inside and 4 grab handles along with a Rugged Ridge dash tray and console lid cover. It has a new catback, mandrel bent, stainless steel Banks Monster exhaust with polished tip that is just slightly louder than stock. To help it breathe it has a new ported and polished throttle body and throttle body spacer. The valve cover gasket has also been replaced with a new one.Starter and battery are not very old and it has 4 new springs 4 new Rancho shocks, and a new Rough Country steering stabilizer. The front and rear sway bar bushings are new. It has 5 new tires with around 5000 miles on 4 of them. The tires are 31x10.50 on 15x8 rims. It also had an alignment done and a new trac bar was installed. All driveline fluids have been switched to Redline and Lucas synthetics. I have most receipts for engine oil changes back to 2008. Coolant has also heen flushed and replaced. Spark plugs have recently been changed and no issues with the clutch. I do believe the windshield has been replaced sometime because it says Guardian on it and no Chrysler markings like the doors have. It is in my garage and has dripped a few drops of oil on the floor. I believe it is coming from the rear main because the 4.0 has a 2 piece rear main and I havent seen one yet that didnt drip some oil. This is a super nice Jeep considering its age. I didnt do any of the work but have a big stack of receipts to show proof and most of it you can clearly see with your eyes. I have some extra things to go with it including a set of brand new tubular doors with mirrors and saddle bags you can attach to them. I also have mirrors if you want to run no doors, bikini top that covers front and reat seats, some touch up paint, and the original green cowl. That is a vinyl decal on the hood but was told the paint looks great under it. I will consider offers and I have a clean Va. title in my possession. I also have proof that right before I got it, it did pass NC smog testing and it has no check engine lights on. I followed my wife home from NC doing between 70 and 80 with 1 hand on the wheel. Other than the interior noise it drives as good as my wifes Expedition. Most of the pictures you are viewing are from last month when I purchased it but it looks no different other than some dust in the tire shine where I took it down a gravel road. Well over 4000 spent on this Jeep in the last 2 years. No lift on this Jeep The guy that sold it to me sold it because he got a newer one. He had it for the last 2 or 3 years and his dads friend had it since around 2008. It has always been in the Williamsburg Va. and Raleigh NC area. In case you are wondering the trees are still green in the pictures taken last month in Raleigh when I picked it up. The pictures in the garage and near the river were taken here in Narrows within the last few days. Thanks for looking and feel free to make me an offer
