2008 Chevy Impala Police Detective verified as a retired detective vehicle. I bought the car with 92K miles on the dash 5K miles in I heard a engine knocking sound so I thought it needed a oil change so I get the oil changed and my mechanic tells me the dealer I got the car from neglected the engine and its gonna blow soon. 2K miles later the engine blows I had it towed to my mechanic in Baltimore, MD and he said the block is cracked and a piston broke. I tried to muster up the money to get the car back on the road but its just out of reach for me. Im asking for $5K because the car still has 100-200K miles left in it. Its a very fun, discreet car that takes flex fuel so gas is alot cheaper, it also has a little rumble from the exhaust nothing crazy just a real suttle rumble.
