Amazing lifted 1981 Datsun Nissan pickup truck 720. 4x4This is a perfect hunting rig or local driver. This truck is a dream. I love it so much and am sad to see it go. Its a great runner. It has NEVER given me major issues. Just basic upkeep. Its pretty damn reliable for a nearly 40yr old truck. Ive done some maintenance on it in the last year like new distributor cap, solenoids, spark plugs, spark plug wires.Work done at a mechanic new U-joints, idler arm, propeller shaft, clutch slave cylinder, clutch master cylinder, alternator drive belt.Regular oil changes Theres a nice loud sound system in it, stereo with aux and USB port, and lifier in back. This truck is a ch. Have some knowledge about old trucks these old datsuns before you wanna take a look though, its a carborated truck Weber carb and with this trucks you seem to always be fussing with the carb. Its a cold blooded engine, it needs a little love when starting cold, but theres a handy choke toggle on the dash that makes starting it up cold a breeze. There no power steering, and the fool who owned it before me put a tiny little racing wheel on it, so I highly recommend putting a full size steering wheel on the thing, I was just too lazy to get around to it.These trucks are small, Im 54 and couldnt be happier to drive old Japanese trucks around. But, this is a regular cab, so the seat will only go back so far. If you are 6 ft tall, this is probably not the right fit for you And just remember its a 40 yr old car, yr bound to need to work on it, but this beast has rarely asked for much from me. And I say this is more of a local vehicle because its an old car, and its top speed is around 65. Though you can do more if you got the wind and are going downhill. I dont think I ever drove on an interstate with it and I wouldnt want to.Register it as an antique car and save yrself the hassle and money of not having to to yearly registrationIts a sad day for me because Im selling my beloved truck. I unfortunately cant afford to be a two vehicle guy, and I was in need of a van for my lifestyle.
