About

For Sale 2002 VW Passat Wagon Theres a lot to talk about with this one, Ill try and get down as much as possible hereGLS wagon, black cloth interior, sunroof, silver exterior, with cargo cover, aftermarket clarion radio w bluetooth 230,000 miles 5 speed manual transmission1.8T 4 cyl engine FWD5 spoke 16 alloy rims w rolling spare, newer tiger paw touring tires. Full set of 15 alloy winter rims and tiresCoil packs off of a 2.0T, which really made a difference in how this thing moves. Recent workfeatures by me Timing belt tensioner water pump Accessory and AC beltvalve cover gasketexhaust manifold gasket Lower control armsFuel FiltersNew used fenders to replace rusted out ones. I put on many of layers of paint in the corners where they typically rust out to keep them good for whatever time this things has in it. Front headlights were replaced a couple years back and dont have any of the usual glazing. This has a hitch and tow harness Issues Its been sitting for most of the year and the rotors are rusty but not seizedIt is off the road, so hasnt been driven more than around the driveway since putting it back together Sagging headlinerNeeds a good cleaning inside and out Im trying to find time Has a leaky flex pipe in the exhaust, I have the replacement but havent installed it yetAC worked the last time it was charged, currently does not work, probably has a leak somewhere, its not the relay or the compressor. The OBDII port retainer clips broke, and its tucked under the dash instead of where it should be. Still usable. The hood and liftgate are acceptable but rough. They could both be easily replaced if you wanted to improve the cosmetics of the car. Speaking of witch, the hood is open because I had it propped open a little, it opens and closes fine. The gas cap button on the drivers door doesnt work, the cap can be opened through the trunk right now. Its not the fuse, I havent had a chance to dig into this issue to resolve it. Heres the thing given all that it drives super well. Barring questions about the breaks this should actually breeze through inspection and be surprisingly reliable. This is from the B5.5 generation of Passats, which you probably know if youve read this far. I recently picked up a B6 wagon with far fewer miles, so thats why this one has to go. Looking for $1250, especially if I get it cleaned up and get the new flex pipe installed. E-mail if you want to talk a look at it. Thanks for reading, let me know if you have any questions.
